Constance Smith-Hicks, MD, PhD

Dr. Smith-Hicks clinical and research interest are targeted to the study of cognition and behavior.  She is the Medical Director for the Center for Autism and Related Disorders clinic and directs several specialty Neurogenetic clinics that focusing on the care of individuals with Rett syndrome and SYNGAP1.

Dr. Smith-Hicks completed her Medical Scientist Training at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, where she obtained her M.D., Ph.D.  She trained in Pediatrics at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and completed her Neurology, Pediatric Neurology and Post-doctoral work in Neuroscience at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
